Our story
Sila started with a frustration I could not solve. I tracked my cycle in one app, my prayers in another, and my fast debt in my head. When my husband and I got married and I wanted fertility in the same picture, I still could not find one tool that held both.
So we built it. I define the product. He writes the code. Sila brings cycle records and worship tracking together, so there is less to keep in your head.
Sila is a tracking tool, not a fatwa. It uses the school you select and the records you enter to show a likely prayer and fasting status. Unusual or complicated cases need a qualified scholar's assessment, not just an app result.
We're a Muslim family, not a big company. We do not sell your cycle or worship data. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how it is used.
How to read our fiqh guidance
A named scholar is not enough to explain a ruling. You should be able to find the passage or answer and understand what it covers. The source notes in our prayer and fasting guide and hayd explanation link to hadith reports and school-specific references, with a description of what each supports.
School-specific answers have conditions. A duration limit alone cannot settle every bleeding pattern. Our madhab guide explains why those differences matter and when to ask for individual guidance.
These references support the explanations on those pages. They do not mean that their authors have reviewed or endorsed Sila. Website summaries and app estimates are not a personal fatwa or a medical diagnosis; health concerns belong with a qualified clinician.
Questions or corrections
If an explanation is unclear, a reference is missing, or something in Sila seems wrong, contact us through Support. For a website correction, include the page and passage so we can check it. Support is for product questions and corrections, not personal religious rulings.
Don't carry it in your head anymore.
